  1.         To install From Scratch Conversion program version 2.10:

  4. This program is included in the shareware and registered versions
  5. of From Scratch distributed on diskettes. It has been separated into
  6. two ZIPs for easier distribution via modem.
  7.  
  8. From Scratch version 1.x offered the conversion utility only to
  9. registered users. However, starting with 2.0, this utility is being
  10. made available for evaluation with the main database program.
  11.  
  12. First install 'From Scratch - the recipe processor for Windows'.
  13. This conversion utility requires files that are contained in that zip
  14. file.
  15.  
  16. Start Windows, and get to the first screen you see when you start
  17. Windows.
  18.  
  19. Choose File/Run, and run Setup. Follow the directions on your screen.
  20.  
  21. Files that end with the underscore have been compressed using the
  22. Microsoft format, and can be expanded using the EXPAND utility packed
  23. with Windows. However, the install.exe program will do this for you
  24. automatically. The install program will also create a directory and a
  25. program manager group for its files. Once the installation is complete,
  26. all the original files are no longer needed. From Scratch only copies
  27. files to the directory you specify; no files are copied elsewhere.
